Walter Presents’ Walter Iuzzolino to Receive TV Drama Pioneer Award

Walter Iuzzolino, co-founder and curator of Walter Presents, will be honored for his contributions to the global scripted business with the inaugural TV Drama Pioneer Award, presented as part of the TV Drama Festival.

Iuzzolino, the titular Walter in the popular on-demand service, has helped drive the booming interest in foreign-language series. Since its 2016 launch in the U.K., Walter Presents has expanded to the U.S., Australia, the Nordics and more, providing a new home for top-notch drama series, delivered in their original languages.

Taking place on June 28 and 29, 2022, the TV Drama Festival will feature keynotes and panels with leading executives and creatives discussing the major trends in the business of scripted series today. It will be streamed live and available on-demand on TVDramaFestival.com. Unlike other events requiring hefty registration fees, attendance to the TV Drama Festival is free.
