Apple TV+ Picks Up Limited Series from David E. Kelley

Apple TV+ has landed the new limited series Presumed Innocent, based on Scott Turow’s book, to be reimagined for the screen by David E. Kelley (Big Little Lies, Nine Perfect Strangers).

The courtroom thriller tells the story of a horrific murder that upends the Chicago prosecuting attorneys’ office when one of its own is suspected of the crime. Kelley serves as showrunner.

Presumed Innocent will be produced by Bad Robot Productions and David E. Kelley Productions in association with Warner Bros. Television. J.J. Abrams and Ben Stephenson executive produce for Bad Robot, while Kelley and Matthew Tinker executive produce through David E. Kelley Productions. Dustin Thomason also serves as executive producer, with Turow and Bad Robot’s Rachel Rusch Rich serving as co-executive producers.
