Crime Series Castle Moves to Lifetime

Lifetime has become the new exclusive cable television home of the syndicated crime procedural Castle.

Starting with the first season, episodes of Castle will air on Tuesdays beginning October 5. The series follows a famous mystery novelist who is enlisted by the NYPD to help solve a series of copycat murders ripped from the pages of his novels.

Nathan Fillion and Stana Katic star in the lead roles. Other cast members include Tamala Jones, Jon Huertas, Seamus Dever, Molly Quinn, Susan Sullivan and Toks Olagundoye.

Produced by ABC Signature, Castle originally debuted in 2009 and ran for eight seasons on ABC. Terence Paul Winter, Alexi Hawley, Rob Bowman, Rob Hanning and Armyan Bernstein were executive producers.
