Spotlight: Kanal D International

Kanal D International has two rom-coms on its slate, along with a remake of a hit medical drama.

Recipe of Love and Twist of Fate lead Kanal D International’s slate because, “while strong dramas are still in demand, people are shifting toward more optimistic, feel-good stories,” said Ekin Koyuncu, executive director. “Romantic comedies became the breakpoint to the stress we are all experiencing in our daily lives.”

The first rom-com available is Recipe of Love, which explores whether love has a standard formula.

The second is the series Twist of Fate, which follows a young girl as she attempts to hold onto her unhappy marriage while also falling for her boss, who keeps his doors closed to love.

In addition to the rom-coms is the medical drama Hekimoğlu, a Turkish remake of the U.S. series House.
