ViacomCBS Global Distribution Group Picks Up Crawlspace

ViacomCBS Global Distribution Group has acquired the global distribution rights for SP Media Group’s Crawlspace.

Crawlspace is a crime-driven thriller, produced by Steven Paul and Scott Karol of SP Media Group, that explores the nature of human beings when pushed to the edge. It is scheduled to complete production this week and is expected to premiere in theaters.

The film follows a struggling family man who must fight for survival as he is trapped in the crawlspace of a remote Oregon cabin where ruthless poachers have stashed their fortune. It stars Henry Thomas (E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial, Legends of the Fall), Jennifer Robertson (Schitt’s Creek, Ginny & Georgia), Olivia Taylor Dudley (The Magicians, Paranormal Activity: The Ghost Dimension), Bradley Stryker (Let Him Go, Altered Carbon), Catherine Lough Haggquist (Fifty Shades of Grey, Motherland: Fort Salem) and C. Ernst Harth (To All the Boys: Always and Forever, Capote).

It is directed by L. Gustavo Cooper (Velvet Road, The Home) and written by Jacob D. Wehrman. Alejandro Brugues, Mark Holder, Christine Holder and Andrew Wilson serve as executive producers.
