Electric Entertainment has launched a campaign for fans of the hit fantasy-adventure series The Outpost to gear up for the third season, debuting on The CW on October 8.

Dean Devlin, CEO of Electric Entertainment, said, “Last year we launched our app, ElectricNow, to offer our fanbase a destination to enjoy all our content in one place. Now, with a new season of The Outpost debuting we have the opportunity to not only alert fans to the third season on The CW, we can also program prior seasons ourselves so audiences can gear up for season three. In addition, we are using our platforms to direct viewers to The CW, which makes the app an elegant marketing tool where we are supporting the series on air, while providing our fans engagement with prior seasons.”

The ElectricNow app is promoting season three, directing audiences to watch the newest season of their favorite program on The CW, while also offering marathons of prior seasons so fans can catch up. On Saturday, October 3, ElectricNow ran back-to-back episodes during its marathon of The Outpost season one and on Sunday, October 4, ElectricNow ran back-to-back episodes of season two. Electric Entertainment is also airing promos for season three each hour in between episodes directing viewers to The CW.

In season three, Talon has summoned Zed and his Blackblood comrades to save the Outpost. She finds herself betrayed by her own kind, and struggles to reconcile her human friends and her Blackblood heritage. With the demonic Lu Qiri providing the muscle to enforce Zed’s master plan, the Outpost’s human inhabitants are enslaved as miners in search of a mysterious substance to solve a dark riddle. From her bedroom under house arrest, Gwynn plots her escape and the overthrow of her new foes. To save her beloved Garret, Talon is forced to summon a Blackblood Priestess named Yavalla into the world. Yavalla prophesies of a paradise for Blackbloods, and an era of peace for the world, but she soon discovers a power that threatens every living creature. As Gwynn and Tobin become Yavalla’s unwilling allies, Talon and her friends must fight, suffer, and sacrifice their way to save each other and vanquish their new enemies. As Talon discovers more about her lost family from Yavalla, she must piece together the truths from the lies, and solve the mystery of her heritage and a forgotten power, before the world becomes enslaved to a new power that could consume every living being.
