Nazaré Licensed to MBC Group

Nazaré, a telenovela produced by SP Televisão and distributed in the global market by SIC International Distribution, has been picked up by MBC Group.

MBC Group, which has previously seen success with More than Love, Frozen Memories and Living Passion, is set to air Nazaré on MBC+ Drama. It is slated to debut on the network on August 10.

Nazaré tells the story of a strong and beautiful woman who will do anything to save her mother’s life, even if it means to betray the love of her life. It is set in the titular Portuguese capital of big wave surfing, where surfer Garret McNamara, who makes a cameo as himself in the series, became Guinness World Record holder for the largest wave ever surfed.
