About Premium Content has lined up a host of new broadcast deals for the series. In addition to Sundance Now, the drama sold to SBS in Australia, Viasat World’s Epic Drama Channel across Central and Eastern Europe, Baltics and CIS, RTP2 in Portugal, Proximus in Belgium, AMC’s Sundance TV in Spain and in Switzerland both public broadcaster RTS and cable channel UPC.

Ani Korpela, head of content at Elisa Viihde, said: “The first season of Shadow Lines was a success both at home and internationally. It received several Kultainen Venla nominations in 2019 and has been sold to more than 20 countries. According to a study commissioned by Elisa, drama is the most popular TV series genre in Finland, and more than half of Finns say they watch dramas quite often. It’s great to continue filming a quality drama that has been so well received.”
