Eccho Rights Sends The Promise to New Markets

Eccho Rights has closed a number of new deals for the Turkish drama series The Promise, produced by Karamel Yapim.

The recent agreements were inked with OBN in Bosnia, Pink in Serbia and BTV in Bulgaria. Last year, broadcasters in Poland, India, Lithuania, Romania and Georgia acquired The Promise, which has been picked up for a third season in Turkey, where it airs on Kanal 7.

Handan Özkubat, director of Turkish drama at Eccho Rights, said: “We are very proud to represent The Promise. Not only does it continue its stellar performance in the domestic market, where it obtains results close to the ratings of high-budget weekly prime-time shows, but we are also receiving great feedback from our clients internationally, where the series is working amazingly well.”
