Amazon Prime Video Lands New Star Trek Series

Amazon Prime Video has inked a deal with CBS Studios International to be the exclusive streaming home outside of the U.S. and Canada of the new Star Trek series starring Sir Patrick Stewart as Jean-Luc Picard.

Amazon Prime Video will offer the title on its platform in more than 200 countries and territories worldwide. The show will run on CBS All Access in the U.S.

The series will be produced by CBS Television Studios in association with Secret Hideout and Roddenberry Entertainment. Alex Kurtzman, Michael Chabon, Akiva Goldsman, James Duff, Patrick Stewart, Heather Kadin, Rod Roddenberry and Trevor Roth will serve as executive producers.
