German Presale for Eccho Rights’ Honour

Eccho Rights has presold Honour to RTL Germany, which will broadcast the drama on its new video streaming service TVNOW.

A Swedish thriller, Honour is produced by Bigster for Nordic Entertainment Group (NENT Group). The series has already presold to Belgian public service broadcaster VRT ahead of its pan-Nordic Viaplay premiere scheduled for the fall.

Moritz Pohl, head of VOD content at Mediengruppe RTL Deutschland, said: “With TVNOW, we recently launched a new full-featured and stand-alone streaming service for the mass market to entertain, inform and move people all over Germany. We have followed the development of this project closely and are so excited by the themes, the style of the production and the refreshing take on a Nordic crime thriller, which ideally complements our variety of high-quality program which TVNOW has to offer.”
