Joaquín Sabina Scripted Series & Documentary in the Works

Endemol Shine Boomdog, BTF Media and Sony Music Spain are developing an original drama series based on the life of Spanish musician Joaquín Sabina.

Together with Reposado Productions, a separate documentary will be produced about Sabina to be released in 2020. Director and screenwriter Fernando León de Aranoa, known for award-winning Spanish films such as Barrio and Mondays in the Sun (Los lunes al sol), will co-produce and direct the documentary. He is currently in discussion to join the drama series as well.
