Tricon Readies for MIPTV with New Content

TORONTO: Tricon Films & Television is gearing up for MIPTV with more than 75 hours of new lifestyle and documentary series, in addition to returning shows.

Returning series include the scripted dramedy series Michael: Tuesdays & Thursdays and the documentary series Metal Evolution, an in-depth exploration of the enduring phenomenon of metal music. New series added to Tricon’s slate include Ad Factory, which reveals the inner workings of television’s most influential advertisements; Innovation Lab, a series of documentaries that unveil the secrets of companies that have successfully implemented cutting-edge business models; and Mark It, a documentary series on the new marketing and media concepts that are revolutionizing the way we consume and create advertising. In addition, Tricon is highlighting Ice Cold Cash, a food-trivia game show; Deck Wars, a competition series that pits two teams against each other to build a deck in just two days; and Willy’s Garage, in which host Paul Williamson’s expert team finds unique vehicles to replicate.
