Ryan St. Peters Moves Up at Shaftesbury

TORONTO: Ryan St. Peters has been elevated to the post of VP of sales and business development at Shaftesbury.

In his expanded position, St. Peters will continue to develop and execute worldwide television and digital presales, sales and distribution strategies for the company and its digital media arm, Smokebomb Entertainment. He will also cultivate partnerships with third-party producers and concentrate on acquiring kids, factual and digital programming for distribution. In addition, he is expected to nurture relationships with digital platforms.

St. Peters first began working for Shaftesbury as a sales representative in 2005. He was promoted to manager of sales and then director of sales in 2010 and 2012, respectively. Before joining the company he served as the marketing manager of Pearson Education.
