Portfolio Entertainment Hires New COO

TORONTO: Industry vet Trent Locke has been tapped to join Portfolio Entertainment’s executive management and strategy team as the company’s new VP of finance and COO.

Locke will work directly with Lisa Olfman and Joy Rosen, Portfolio’s CEOs. His duties will encompass strategy and new business development, along with finance and day-to-day operations.

Most recently serving as the VP of business operations for TELETOON Canada, Locke has worked two decades in media, entertainment and manufacturing. At his former job, the exec was instrumental in developing the business model and managing the launch operations for TELETOON’s specialty network, TELETOON Retro.

“His deep understanding of the broadcast and digital landscape is invaluable as we look to the future as content producers,” Olfman said.
