MONTREAL: Former Endemol Shine executive Gary R. Carter has been appointed as MinorityVR’s new senior creative and strategic advisor.

Carter previously served as co-CEO at Endemol Shine Group, chairman at Shine Group and COO/CCO at FremantleMedia Group. “Gary’s deep understanding of storytelling and his extensive experience in international business development are unparalleled in the industry,” said Isabelle Anouk Bourduas, MinorityVR’s senior VP. “We’re very excited to start working with him in bringing broadcasters onto the VR platform.”

MinorityVR recently launched its three virtual reality (VR) experiences as companion pieces to A&E Network’s online drama series Fall Into Me. The company is in Cannes this week and will be participating in the Telefilm Canada/Canada Media Fund (CMF) panel presentation in the Canadian Pavilion, highlighting the country’s new developments in VR.
