MONTREAL: Incendo has kicked off principal photography on Amber Alert, a new movie starring Canadian actress Alaina Huffman (Stargate: Universe) that marks the company's 60th production.

Amber Alert centers on Detective Amber Cross, a crisis negotiator from Connecticut who is trying to do her best at her job despite the fact that she might lose custody of her son. The film is being shot on location in Montreal and co-stars Barry Flatman (Saw III) and Damon Runyan (Cheaper by the Dozen 2). It is being directed by Philippe Gagnon (First Response).

"Philippe is certainly one of the most talented Canadian filmmakers," said Jean Bureau, the president and CEO of Incendo. "It is a pleasure to work with him."

On Amber Alert being the company's 60th production, Bureau added: "I am very proud to celebrate this important milestone for our company. I want to share this success with all the members of the impressive Incendo family, as well as with our Canadian and worldwide partners, without whom this achievement would not be possible."
