Canada’s CTV has added a number of series to its schedule for 2018-19, including picking up the buzzy new cop drama The Rookie and the Magnum P.I. reboot.

The Canadian broadcaster also acquired God Friended Me, Whiskey Cavalier and the legal thriller The Fix. The Alec Baldwin Show is coming to Canada, along with The Kids Are Alright, The Red Line, The Enemy Within and The Village.

Eva Longoria’s Grand Hotel will make its Canadian debut thanks to the CTV pickup. America’s Got Talent: The Champions, the second season of The Resident and the special ABBA: Thank You for the Music, An All-Star Tribute round out the acquisitions.

“Mission accomplished. CTV has secured the most coveted series from Hollywood, including two of the year’s biggest drama gets, The Rookie and Magnum P.I.,” said Mike Cosentino, the president of content and programming at Bell Media. “Big stars, great stories and best-in-class drama, comedy and reality; we look forward to introducing Canadians to another winning lineup this fall.”
