CMT to Air New Reality Titles Next Year

TORONTO: Canada’s CMT, a Corus Entertainment channel, is slated to premiere new unscripted series starting in spring 2015.

The new original series include the sketch-comedy show Almost Genius, the real-estate-themed Yukon for Sale and the competition series Ice Road Racers. Additionally, Canadian psychic Carmel Baird will return to the network for a second season of Mom’s A Medium.

“We’re excited to be commissioning a number of new original programs for CMT to continue to build momentum after successful spring and fall launches,” said John MacDonald, the VP of television and head of Corus Women and Family at Corus Entertainment. “We’re very pleased to be working with talented Canadian producers to create engaging series that will resonate with our audiences.”
