Incendo & Quebecor Content Establish Distribution Unit

Incendo and Quebecor Content have set up a new distribution unit to optimize operations and have appointed Cynthia Kennedy as VP of distribution.

In her new role, Kennedy, a native of Montréal with 25 years of experience in sales and senior management, will direct audiovisual content distribution strategies and activities at Quebecor and its subsidiaries in Canada and worldwide.

In the past, Kennedy has contributed to a number of international broadcasters and distributors, including Talpa Global, BBC Studios, A+E Networks, Channel 4 International and Keshet International. In addition to sales of hit formats such as The Voice and Dancing with the Stars, she has been responsible for the international distribution of series including Prisoners of War, False Flag and The Office.

In her new position as VP of distribution of Incendo and Quebecor Content, she will have multiple people reporting to her, including Gavin Reardon, head of international sales and co-productions at Incendo; Brook Peters, senior VP of Canadian sales and production operations at Incendo; Sylvie Langlois, director of acquisitions, entertainment formats, and international development at Quebecor Content; and Carole Labrie, director of TVA Films and TVA Distribution.
