In an epic entrance to late-night television and a weeknight game changer, Global is bringing The Late Show with Stephen Colbert to Canadians five nights a week. Hitting the Global schedule midseason is the new drama Shades of Blue, starring Jennifer Lopez. New event series Containment and the latest installment to the Chicago franchise, Chicago Med, are also set for midseason.

"With compelling, buzzed about new shows, and huge stars joining the lineup this fall, Global has a formidable combination of dramas, comedies, and thrilling action series to build upon the massive success of returning hits like the NCIS franchise, The Good Wife and The Blacklist," said Christine Shipton, the senior VP and chief creative officer of Shaw Media. "Closing out prime-time with The Late Show With Stephen Colbert five nights a week makes Global the place for Canadians to watch prime-time programming from start to finish, every night this fall."
