TVB Pay Vision Unveils 24-Hour Gourmet Channel

HONG KONG: TVB Pay Vision is adding the brand-new gourmet channel TVB Food to its bouquet as of September 24, kicking off the launch with a special event featuring hot dog eating champion Takeru Kobayashi.

TVB Pay Vision organized a challenge with dozens of contestants, with six of them winning the heats. The winner, Johnny Wu, was presented with HK$10,000 in prize money by Kobayashi.

TVB Food is Hong Kong’s only gourmet channel in Cantonese. The offerings is tailor-made for local audiences, and features celebrity chefs and culinary experts. Three brand-new shows are being produced and will kick off with the Kobayashi specials this week.
