ZEE Entertainment Enterprises’ international OTT platform ZEE5 Global is now available in 17 languages with the addition today of Malay, Thai, Bahasa, German and Russian.
Further language options are planned as the service targets both the Indian diaspora and mainstream audiences across the globe. “With the introduction of these new languages, ZEE5 further accelerates its drive to be a truly global player,” said Amit Goenka, CEO of ZEE International and ZEE5 Global. “As we move forward with our global expansion, we will continue to not only strengthen and expand our content catalog but also add on new languages as well. ZEE5 has been available in 190-plus markets since October 2018 in Hindi, English, Bengali, Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Marathi, Oriya, Bhojpuri, Gujarati and Punjabi, delivering 100,000 hours of on-demand content and 60-plus live-TV channels.
