VCNI Taps Streaming Lead for Asia

Catherine Park has been named senior VP and head of office and streaming for Asia at ViacomCBS Networks International (VCNI).

With this new appointment, Pierre Cheung, senior VP and general manager for Asia, is stepping down. Park will lead VCNI’s streaming efforts in the region as well as expand the local consumer products and location-based experiences businesses. She was most recently with Korea’s Coupang Corp., serving as head of content at the Coupang Play platform.

“We see an incredible opportunity to grow our streaming business in Asia as we continue to rapidly expand the global footprint of our leading FAST service, Pluto TV, and our premium products like Paramount+ and Nick+,” said Raffaele Annecchino, president and CEO of VCNI. “Catherine’s streaming and content expertise, combined with a deep knowledge of the region, will undoubtedly bring our business in Asia to the next level.”
