Turner to Bring New Doc Channel to Asia

HONG KONG: Turner Broadcasting System Asia Pacific is slated to launch World Heritage Channel, a new pan-regional premium documentary network celebrating mankind's greatest treasures, in Asia.

The channel will feature such programming categories as nature, travel, history and culture, and will take viewers on journeys to UNESCO's World Heritage Sites. It has picked up hundreds of hours of first-run, exclusive content for the region, including The World Heritage, Journey to Natural World Heritage Sites, Beautiful Planet, Asia's Monarchies, Asia Rising, Travel Bug, Paradise Asia, David Attenborough's Conquest of the Skies and David Attenborough's Flying Monsters.

World Heritage Channel will be offered in full HD with Chinese, Bahasa Malaysia, Bahasa Indonesia and Thai subtitles. Authenticated OTT and catch-up rights have also been secured for select programming.
