Turner has strengthened its finance team in the Asia Pacific with a pair of new appointments, including David Liu being tapped as senior finance director.

Liu will work out of the company’s regional headquarters in Hong Kong. He is charged with coordinating all finance-related tasks across the Asia Pacific and leading the region’s central team. He is expected to help shape a unified reporting structure while continuing to enhance forecasting and budgeting processes.

Turner has also named Joseph Tan finance director for the company’s Southeast Asia business based out of Singapore. His duties include overseeing the strategic financial needs of Southeast Asia Pacific offices. He will collaborate with Clement Schwebig, Turner Asia Pacific’s CFO and senior VP of business development, licensing and China, and Phil Nelson, senior VP and managing director for Southeast Asia Pacific and North Asia.

Before joining Turner, Liu and Tan served as head of finance for NBA Asia and India, and finance director for Publicis Communications Singapore, respectively.

Schwebig commented: “With our industry constantly shifting and our business evolving, I’m very pleased to welcome these two dynamic members to our team. David is our terrific asset to oversee our regional team in Hong Kong, with Joseph supporting the Southeast Asia and Pacific region from Singapore.”
