Three now TV Channels Score New Thai Carriage

HONG KONG/BANGKOK: A trio of now TV branded channels are headed to Cable Thai Holding’s pay-TV platform as of February 2013.

The Chinese-language now International, now Mango and now HaiRun will be available in Thailand to customers of Cable Thai Holding. now International features a number of cooking, lifestyle and travel programs, along with a selection of variety shows and entertainment news programs. now Mango, a joint venture with Hunan Broadcasting System, features celebrity interview programs, entertainment shows and variety series with pop stars and celebrities from the region. now HaiRun is dedicated to drama series.

Janice Lee, the managing director of TV and new media at PCCW, the operator of now TV, said, “The partnership with CTH, an energetic and fast growing pay-TV player in Thailand, follows hot on the heels of our launch in Malaysia. We are confident that our now-branded premium content will be highly welcomed by the Chinese communities in Thailand. In addition to that, the channels will also be subtitled and dubbed into Thai language to cater to the local audience.
