SINGAPORE: Marking its entry into the South Asian market, Syfy is set to launch in Sri Lanka tomorrow on the Dialog TV platform.

On the operator, Syfy will join fellow NBCUniversal International-owned services DIVA, E! and Universal Channel. The channel will feature Syfy U.S. originals like Sharknado 3, Dark Matter and Dominion, as well as the AsiaPac production The Paranormal Zone.

“We are excited to work with one of our leading partners in Sri Lanka for the launch of our globally iconic Syfy brand," said Christine Fellowes, the managing director of Universal Networks International, Asia Pacific. "This is a momentous occasion for the channel brand as it becomes available in South Asia for the very first time. The launch of Syfy on Dialog TV is a testament to the channel’s strength in delivering a unique value proposition for subscribers, as well as Dialog TV’s commitment to curating compelling content that cannot be found elsewhere.”
