STAR Cricket Channel Grows Footprint in Southeast Asia

SINGAPORE: ESPN STAR Sports (ESS) has secured new carriage for the STAR Cricket channel in the Philippines and Indonesia.

The channel, which launched in 2007, reaches viewers in markets such as Singapore, Hong Kong, Papua New Guinea, the Maldives and now the Philippines. The launch in Indonesia is coming soon. An HD version of the channel rolled out in July last year in key markets in Asia, including India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Singapore.
