RTL CBS Asia Entertainment HD to Air U.S. Awards Shows

SINGAPORE: RTL CBS Asia Entertainment HD has entered into a deal with dick clark productions for the exclusive regional pay-TV broadcast rights for the Billboard Music Awards, the Hollywood Film Awards, the People Magazine Awards and the American Music Awards.

The Hollywood Film Awards kick things off with a live broadcast on November 15 at 9 a.m. This will be followed by the American Music Awards live via satellite on November 24 at 9 a.m. This year marks the inaugural broadcast for the Hollywood Film Awards, which honor excellence in filmmaking. The American Music Awards features the hottest artists from across a range of music genres.

The People Magazine Awards celebrate the year's most influential and talked-about people in pop culture, celebrity and Hollywood. The ceremony will air live on RTL CBS Entertainment HD in December. The Billboard Music Awards, to air live in May 2015, will showcase the year's biggest music stars.
