Presto Adds BBC Worldwide Docs to SVOD Service

SYDNEY: BBC Worldwide titles are joining Presto’s SVOD service, with a package featuring nearly 100 hours of documentaries from BBC Worldwide Australia and New Zealand (ANZ).

Presto picked up SVOD rights to a variety of titles that will be available to stream on-demand for Presto TV and Presto Entertainment bundle subscribers beginning July 16. Presto is currently offering a free 30-day trial of the Presto Entertainment bundle subscription. Programs featured in the package from BBC Worldwide ANZ include Brazil with Michael Palin, Stephen Fry and the Great American Oil Spill, Fry’s Planet World, Australia with Simon Reeve, Joanna Lumley: The Quest for Noah’s Ark, An African Journey with Jonathan Dimbleby and Louis Theroux documentaries such as Gambling in Las Vegas, The Most Hated Family in America and The Miami Mega-Jail, among other titles.

Presto TV and Presto Entertainment services also feature content from international distributors such as HBO, Showtime, 20th Century Fox, CBS Studios International, Viacom International Media Networks and local providers like ABC Commercial, Foxtel and Seven West Media.
