LONDON: Passion Distribution has sold more than 300 hours of programming to a slew of broadcasters in Asia.

Pan-Asia agreements have been made with Fox Crime for Mentorn Media’s Captive in Cleveland. Sony Entertainment Television Asia went for the seventh season of Scripps Networks International’s Cupcake Wars.

In China, LIC signed deals for Mentorn Media’s Oscar Pistorius: What Really Happened? and Superstorm USA: Caught on Camera. The company also took Abby & Brittany: College and Beyond from Figure 8 Films, Got Home Alive from Scripps Networks International and How to Change Your Body from Pioneer Productions. Also in China, Happy Movie Media snapped up Mentorn Media’s Earth Shocks: Mega Volcano and Pioneer Productions’ In the Womb: Fight for Life for CCTV.

Tru Corp in Thailand acquired Forecasting the End, by The Weather Channel; My New Hand, by True North Productions; Edwardian Insects on Film, by Mentorn Media; and Scripps Networks International’s Food Feuds and You Live in What?

In Japan, Fuji TV licensed the premiere of World of Wonder’s Rupaul’s Drag Race, while Tokyovision secured the third season of Mentorn Media’s World’s Scariest for World Great TV. Meanwhile, Nippon Television grabbed Mentorn Media’s Flying Car.

Scripps Networks International’s Selling London and International Open House are headed to TVB Jade in Hong Kong. Additional deals include Fox International Channels signing for James Martin’s Mediterranean from UKTV and Singapore’s TV4Me picking up West End Salvage, which was produced by Pie Town Productions for Scripps Networks International’s HGTV.
