now TV Lands Exclusive Barclays Premier League Rights

HONG KONG: now TV has entered a deal for the exclusive multi-screen broadcasting rights for the Barclays Premier League coverage in Hong Kong for three seasons.

The quad-play pay-TV provider has entered into an exclusive negotiating window, under a standstill agreement, to finalize its exclusive rights. The agreement would allow now TV to broadcast the Premier League games starting with the 2013-14 season for a total of 380 matches in both HD and SD. This covers VOD as well as other platforms such as Internet and mobile. now TV customers would also gain on-the-go access via multiple devices with the now Player app.
