MediaCorp Names New Member to Its Board of Directors

SINGAPORE: MediaCorp has appointed Wong Su-Yen to its board of directors.

With more than two decades of experience leading companies around the world, the exec is currently chairman of both global communications company Nera Telecommunications and global professional services firm Marsh & McLennan. She also serves as an independent director on the boards of NTUC First Campus and the National Kidney Foundation.

Her appointment to MediaCorp’s board is effective immediately. The board comprises 11 members who are eminent leaders, entrepreneurs and professionals from the public and private sectors.

Teo Ming Kian, MediaCorp’s chairman, said, “We welcome Su-Yen to the MediaCorp Board. She has deep expertise in talent strategy and leadership development and brings on board a wealth of perspectives and insights to help steer MediaCorp in its growth and transformation.”

Wong said, “I am joining the MediaCorp board at an opportune time, as the company reinvents itself in a fast-changing media environment and invests in the right talent to drive its transformation.
