Locomotive Global Media Appoints Head of Business Affairs

Mumbai-based production company Locomotive Global Media has hired Kanupriya A Iyer as head of business affairs and senior producer.

Iyer will work closely with Sunder Aaron, co-founder and principal, to set up and lead the company’s film division, as well as oversee all business operations. She will be responsible for driving growth through all aspects of content development and production required to scale up the company’s position.

Iyer joins from Colour Yellow Productions, where she was a co-producer. During her time there, she presided over releases such as Tanu Weds Manu Returns, Manmarziyaan, Newton and Tumbbad.

“We are delighted to welcome Kanupriya to our leadership team,” Aaron said. “She is a unique executive talent whose knowledge and expertise in the film business will enable us to immediately make a splash in the features business.
