ITV Studios Global Entertainment (ITVS GE) has renewed its agreement with the Japanese satellite broadcaster Imagica TV regarding the ITV Collection block.

The Imagica BS channel will continue to air the ITV-branded programming slot. In addition, as part of the extended multiyear deal, Imagica TV will also get a first option to acquire the rights to new ITVS GE-distributed dramas.

ITV Collection airs on Imagica BS on Monday to Thursday at 1 p.m. and again at 7 p.m. The block showcases recently produced ITVS GE content such as Dr Blake Mysteries, Endeavour, Poldark, Mr Selfridge and Jordskott, as well as classic ITV shows such as Poirot, Sherlock Holmes and Prime Suspect.

Augustus Dulgaro, the executive VP for the Asia Pacific at ITV Studios Global Entertainment, said: “Imagica BS is already recognized as the home of some of the best ITVS GE content in Japan and so we are delighted that Japanese audiences will be able to continue watching their favorite shows, from classic titles to the more recent hits, through the channel’s ITV Collection slot.”
