SYDNEY: Legit, a U.S. series starring the Australian comedian Jim Jefferies, is making its way to Foxtel’s The Comedy Channel in an 8:30 p.m. time slot.

The 13-episode series was co-created by Jefferies and Peter O’Fallon. Jefferies also stars, as a somewhat fictionalized version of himself. The show follows as the foul-mouthed comic finds himself living in Los Angeles in his mid-30s, struggling to make his life and career more "legitimate."

The cast also features Dan Bakkedahl (Veep) as Steve Nugent, DJ Qualls (Road Trip, Memphis Beat) as Billy Nugent, and Mindy Sterling (Austin Powers film trilogy, A.N.T. Farm). A second season has already been confirmed.
