FOXTEL Outlines Plans for Olympic Coverage

SYDNEY: FOXTEL has lined up around 1,100 hours of live events and 3,200 hours of total coverage for the London Olympic Games across eight dedicated channels.

LONDON 1 will feature swimming, diving, synchronized swimming and water polo, while LONDON 2 airs track cycling, BMX, mountain biking and road cycling. LONDON 3 will provide coverage of gymnastics in the categories of artistic, rhythmic and trampoline. LONDON 4 and 5 are for track and field, respectively. LONDON 6 features three Equestrian categories as well as fencing and table tennis. LONDON 7 programs rowing and two types of canoeing. LONDON 8 covers beach volleyball, sailing, football, hockey and weightlifting. The remaining sports will be shown across a range of channels depending on the competition schedule. The channels will also be available to watch via the LONDON 2012 Olympic Games tablet app.
