CJ E&M Teams Up with Amuse to Produce Drama

SEOUL: CJ E&M Corporation is partnering with Japanese entertainment company Amuse for the co-production of a drama starring Choi Seung-Hyun and Juri Ueno.

The production, which is slated to air later this year on various platforms, will focus on the love story between a Korean man and Japanese woman. Choi Seung-Hyun, also know as T.O.P., is a member of the K-pop band Big Bang. Juri Ueno is a Japanese actress known for her work in such television dramas as Nodame Cantabile and Last Friends.

Lee Seung-Hoon, producer for CJ E&M, remarked: "We've finally kicked off this collaboration project with Amuse after about a year of planning. Even from the initial developing stage, we had Choi Seung-Hyun and Juri Ueno in mind as main characters. I'm sure many viewers around the globe will be entertained by the story."
