BBC Worldwide India Reshuffles Production Business Team

BBC Worldwide India has given Soniya Kulkarni the newly expanded role of creative and business head of productions for India, while Deepali Handa moves up to commercial head of productions for the country.

Kulkarni will be responsible for securing new business while also still managing the productions and creative teams. Handa will continue to oversee BBC Worldwide India’s non-fiction production and production accounts as well as operational performance.

Both execs will keep reporting to Myleeta Aga, the senior VP and general manager for South and Southeast Asia, who said: “BBC Worldwide already enjoys a reputation as a leading producer in India, making high-quality and popular fiction and non-scripted content. I am confident that their efforts, vision and creative force will enhance BBC Worldwide’s strategic growth and business here.”
