Australia’s Ten to Air New U.S. Series

SYDNEY: Network Ten has added six new U.S. series to its schedule, among them Sleepy Hollow and 24: Live Another Day.

From its partner 20th Century Fox, Network Ten is set to air Sleepy Hollow, a modern-day retelling of Washington Irving’s classic tale, and 24: Live Another Day, a limited series that features the return of 24 and Kiefer Sutherland. Network Ten will also broadcast 20th Century Fox’s new drama Crisis and the ensemble comedy Friends with Better Lives.

From CBS Studios International, the comedy The Millers is headed to Network Ten. The series stars Beau Bridges and Will Arnett. CBSSI also delivers to Network Ten the legal drama Reckless.

Sleepy Hollow and The Millers will launch this fall in the U.S. and in Australia. 24: Live Another Day, Crisis, Friends with Better Lives and Reckless will go to air in the U.S. in the first half of 2014.

Beverley McGarvey, Network Ten’s chief programming officer, said: “We are really delighted to be bringing this great mix of new comedy and drama to the Network Ten schedule.

“Given shows such as Elementary and Under the Dome have struck such a chord with Australian viewers this year, we are confident this new slate of content will provide our viewers with more unforgettable experiences.”
