Asia Pacific Pay-TV Operators Summit Gears Up for Third Edition

MUMBAI: The third annual Asia Pacific Pay-TV Operators Summit (APOS), which is scheduled to take place April 24 to 26 in Bali, has lined up Viacom’s Bob Bakish and Sony’s Andy Kaplan, among others.

Kaplan, the president of worldwide networks for Sony Pictures Television, and Bakish, the president and CEO of Viacom International Media Networks, have been confirmed for the speaker lineup. Also on board are Dr. James Riady, the CEO of Lippo Group; Rudy Tanoesoedibjo, the president of MNC Sky Vision; Sugiono Wiyono, the CEO of Polaris; Dr. JS Sarma, the chairman of Telecom Regulatory Authority of India; Uday Shankar, the CEO of Star India; Edgar Spielmann, the president and CEO of LapTV; Hary Tanoesoedibjo, the CEO of MNC Group; and Adam Chesnoff, the president and COO of Saban Capital Group.

The summit will bring together more than 50 distribution platforms from key markets alongside investors, broadcasters, content owners, technology suppliers and regulators.
