AMC/Sundance Expands Asia-Pac Operations

NEW YORK: Ahead of APOS, which kicks off in Bali next week, AMC/Sundance Channel Global has announced a number of personnel appointments for its Asia-Pacific operations, as well as a range of acquisitions for its channels in the region.

For the Asia-Pacific operations, Courtney Williams has been tapped as managing director of business development and strategy, while Donovan Castillo-Mohlman joins as the head of programming and scheduling and Lorraine Ou has been named marketing manager.

On the programming front, Sundance Channel Malaysia has acquired the feature film Amour as well as the Oscar-winning doc Searching for Sugar Man, which will be available on both the linear and subscription video on demand services. For Sundance Channel services across Asia, new acquisitions include ITV Studios Global Entertainment’s Mr Selfridge in an exclusive premiere window rights deal, as well as Secret State from ALL3MEDIA International.
