Seven West Media Hires New Chief Digital Officer

SYDNEY: Seven West Media has appointed Clive Dickens as its chief digital officer, part of an expansion in the company’s leadership.

The hire is also part of a move to further build the development and integration of its businesses into new forms of content delivery. Dickens, who is currently the director of digital and innovation at Southern Cross Austereo, will assume his new role early next year. The exec is also a non-executive director at Digital Radio Broadcasting and an HbbTV Steering Committee member at Freeview Australia. He’ll report to Tim Worner, Seven West Media’s CEO.

“Clive is well-known to the market as a champion of new and emerging digital platforms, and as an identifier of new opportunities for growth,” Worner said. “He joins us at an exciting time.
