WarnerTV Asia Scores Gotham

HONG KONG: WarnerTV in Asia will premiere the new FOX series Gotham, repped by Warner Bros. International Television, across the region shortly after its U.S. debut.

The show will be "fast-tracked to Asian screens exclusively on WarnerTV," the pan-regional channel announced today. The Warner Bros. Television-produced show tells the origin stories of several DC Comics super-villains and vigilantes. It is exec-produced by Bruno Heller.

Marianne Lee, network VP for general entertainment at Turner International Asia Pacific, noted, “Gotham offers audiences excitement, intrigue and action, and will be an ideal addition to our programming lineup. This drama series is exactly the kind of compelling content that makes WarnerTV so popular, and showcases the high production values and great storytelling that we’ve come to expect from the world’s number one television and movie studio. WarnerTV is distributed in Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Taiwan, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, Sri Lanka, Palau, Cambodia and Papua New Guinea.
