TV5Monde USA Secures 32nd Annual César Awards

LOS ANGELES, February 5: The 24-hour French-language channel
TV5Monde USA has acquired the exclusive U.S. rights to air a live broadcast of
the 32nd Annual César Awards on February 24.

The Oscar-nominated film Days of Glory (Indigènes), leads with nine César Award nominations including Best French Film,
Best Original Screenplay, Best Director and Best Music. The film follows the
plight of North African soldiers fighting for France during WWII.

In addition to Days of Glory (Indigènes), other Best
French Film nominees are: Je vais bien, ne t’en fais pas, Lady Chatterley, Ne le dis à personne and Quand j’étais chanteur. The nominees in the Best Foreign Film category
include Babel, Little
Miss Sunshine, The Queen
, Volver and Brokeback Mountain.

Organized by the Academy of Arts and Science of Cinema and
hosted by Valérie Lemercier, the awards show will air live on TV5Monde USA on
February 24 beginning at 3 p.m. EST (noon PST).
