TV5MONDE Announces 2025-26 Season Plans

TV5MONDE has unveiled its global plans for the 2025-26 season, marked by a refreshed brand identity, new original titles and a digital expansion.

Among the programs for the new season are Les Nouveaux Boss, the first pan-African entrepreneurship competition; La Grande Galerie Francophone, in partnership with the Louvre and Condé Nast; and Génération F, a journey into the heritage and transformations of the French Touch.

Also on the slate is a series of enhanced news programs, including 64’ and Journal Afrique, as well as new fact-checking offerings to fight disinformation and offer verified news coverage. A particular focus is being placed on news from Africa. Among TV5MONDE’s team of 135 correspondents across all continents, nearly 30 are in Africa. Additionally, TV5MONDE unveiled a new state-of-the-art news studio, designed to better showcase its news offering and improve the working environment for journalists.

The new season also introduces a refreshed brand identity designed by Gédéon. The color palette, once dominated by blue, now expands to five main shades to embody the full diversity of the francophone world, and the new logo honors TV5MONDE’s history.

TV5MONDE is expanding its digital presence for the new season as well, with the redesigned streaming platform TV5MONDE+ and C’Carré, a new social media-driven program for 15- to 18-year-olds covering everything from international news to pop culture. Educational offerings are consolidated under the TV5MONDE EDU banner.
