TV Globo Available on DISH U.S. IPTV Platform

SÃO PAULO: DISH Network in the U.S. now offers TV Globo Internacional’s Portuguese-language channel via IPTV.

TV Globo Internacional provides news, exclusive programming, live sports, telenovelas, mini-series, kids’ shows and more. The 24-hour channel has more than 580,000 premium subscribers around the world, with a presence in 115 countries on five continents.

“We’re very happy with the partnership; this is one more alternative for Brazilians who wants to feel closer to home, by watching TV Globo programming as a cure for their homesickness,” said Marcelo Spínola, the director of international distribution at TV Globo.
