TV Azteca’s The Academy Commemorates Mexico’s Bicentennial

MEXICO CITY: TV Azteca’s hit reality show The Academy is headed back to Azteca International on September 12, but this season will celebrate the bicentenary by featuring participants from Latin American countries such as Mexico, Argentina, Chile and Venezuela.

To be aired as The Bicentenary Academy, the show will feature contestants from a range of Latin American countries as they demonstrate their vocal skills, dancing abilities and instrument-playing talents. Auditions are currently under way in Latin America for the new crop of participants. The show first launched in 2002 and has now aired in more than 19 countries.
