TV Azteca’s Morena Makes Argentine Debut

MEXICO CITY: The TV Azteca telenovela Pasion Morena (Morena) has debuted on Telefe in Argentina, where it achieved strong ratings in its first week.

The 180×1-hour novela tells the story of a talented fashion designer who has taken the New York runways by storm. She thinks she’s met the man of her dreams, but finds her fiancé in the arms of another and calls off her wedding. She runs away to an island paradise to escape the pain, and meets Leo, a man who is destined to change her life. Comarex launched the series at MIPTV, and Morena has already been released in Latin America, Europe and Southeast Asia.

“We are delighted that Telefe is airing Pasion Morena and sharing the success of this telenovela with the other networks around the world,” commented Marcel Vinay Jr., the CEO of Comarex.
